Zeekr 9X Previewed In UAE At Yas Marina Circuit

Zeekr UAE and AWR Automotive marked a major milestone for the brand with a special Zeekr Dynamic track day at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. The event celebrated five years of Zeekr globally and two years of the brand’s presence in the UAE.

The event brought together more than 200 Zeekr owners, media representatives and key opinion leaders. It also gave guests an exclusive UAE preview of the new Zeekr 9X, the brand’s upcoming full-size tech-luxury SUV flagship.

The Zeekr 9X is now open for pre-booking in the UAE, with prices starting at AED 369,900.

Zeekr 9X UAE Prices & Variants

Zeekr has listed three variants of the 9X for the UAE market:

Pre-booking is open for AED 10,000. Deliveries are expected to start from October 2026.

Zeekr Dynamic Track Day Held In Abu Dhabi

Zeekr Dynamic is the brand’s global track day platform. It is designed to bring owners together and allow them to experience Zeekr models in a performance-focused setting.

For the UAE event, Yas Marina Circuit was used as the venue. The Abu Dhabi circuit gave Zeekr owners a chance to experience the brand’s cars in a controlled track environment.

The event was built around the Zeekr owner community. Guests were split into groups and moved through different activity zones across the day. These included circuit drives, acceleration runs and drift ride-alongs.

Zeekr 9X Makes UAE Preview.

The highlight of the event was the UAE preview of the Zeekr 9X. The new model is positioned as Zeekr’s flagship SUV and will sit at the top of the brand’s range.

The Zeekr 9X is built around a 900V architecture and uses a 2.0-litre supercharged powertrain paired with electrified performance hardware. It also features a 70kWh battery and advanced driving assistance technology.

Variant-Wise Performance

The Zeekr 9X Ultra is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 885hp. It can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.2 seconds.

The Zeekr 9X Hyper and Obsidian variants use a tri-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 1,380hp. Both variants can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 3.1 seconds.

The higher variants also add features such as zero-gravity second-row rotating seats and 48V active suspension. The Obsidian variant adds a darker design theme with Obsidian Black exterior and interior highlights, along with 22-inch forged wheels.

Luxury-Focused Interior

Inside, the Zeekr 9X is designed to offer a premium three-row cabin. The SUV features a 16-inch central touchscreen and a matching front passenger screen. Both displays run on Zeekr AI OS, the brand’s native AI-based smart cockpit operating system.

The cabin includes:

Track Performance Demonstrated

Performance was another major focus of the event. Zeekr showcased the 9X on the drag strip, where the SUV was lined up against a field of supercars.

Despite its large size and luxury SUV format, the 9X demonstrated strong acceleration thanks to its powerful electric drive system. Zeekr used the activity to show that performance is a key part of its wider model range, not just its dedicated performance cars.

The Zeekr 7X was also used during the event. Guests experienced the 7X on the Grand Prix circuit and during professional drift ride-alongs.

More Than 200 Owners Join The Celebration

The Zeekr Dynamic event was also a celebration of the brand’s growing UAE community. More than 200 owners took part in the day’s activities.

The event ended with a parade lap on the full Grand Prix layout at Yas Marina Circuit. Zeekr owners drove together in convoy, culminating in a community-focused track experience.

Ms Nicole Huang, Head of User Operations at Zeekr, said the event showed the strength of the brand’s community in the region. She added that previewing the 9X to owners was the right way to mark the milestone.

Mr Roberto Colucci, Director of EVs at AWR Automotive, said the event reflected the growing demand for premium electric mobility in the UAE. He also said the 9X arrives at the right time for the market.

Zeekr’s Global Growth

Zeekr was launched globally in 2021 and has delivered more than 800,000 vehicles worldwide. Its current line-up includes the Zeekr 001, 001FR, 009, X, 007, 7X, MIX, 009 Grand, 9X and 7GT.

The brand is now present in more than 40 markets. Its design direction is led by Global Chief Designer Stefan Sielaff, who has helped shape Zeekr’s tech-luxury identity.

Zeekr 9X UAE Launch Timeline

The Zeekr 9X is expected to reach customers in the UAE from October 2026. Pre-bookings are open through official Zeekr UAE channels for AED 10,000.
