“Iran Just Proved How Prepared The UAE Is,” Says Emirati Content Creator

UAE and how they have been handling the Iran attacks have become one of the key conversation topics online. And one video from an Emirati content creator has struck a chord with many people across the community.

In a candid message shared on social media, the creator said the recent attacks have actually highlighted something many residents already believe: just how prepared the UAE is.

“If the world goes up in flames…”

In the video, he begins with quite a bold statement: “If the world goes up in flames, the UAE would be one of the places you want to be on this planet”

He went on to explain that if global tensions were to escalate further, the UAE would likely remain one of the safest places to be.

Speaking about the scale of the attacks, the creator pointed out the large number of drones and missiles that were reportedly launched. Out of which, a vast majority of them were intercepted – which speaks volumes about the country’s defence capabilities.

And by keeping their residents feeling safe, they quietly demonstrated the strength and readiness of the UAE’s systems.

Calling out online narratives

Another part of his message was directed at what he described as “propaganda” circulating online about the situation in the UAE. He said some of the narratives being pushed globally don’t match what residents are actually experiencing on the ground.

According to him, people who live here understand that the country invests heavily in protecting its land and its people, and that those investments become especially visible during moments of crisis.

He also spoke about the trust many residents have in the country’s leadership and institutions – a topic that has been talked about a lot by the residents and analysed (or tried to be analysed) by global media platforms such as the BBC.

“Keep moving forward”

Beyond the security discussion, the creator had an important request to the residents: to keep moving.

Exploring the economic side of things, he encouraged residents and businesses to continue their daily activities where possible, noting that the country has repeatedly encouraged people to maintain normal life.

Keeping businesses running and projects moving is one of the ways residents can contribute during challenging moments. While certain industries such as those related to logistics may face temporary disruptions, many other sectors such as the digital and service-based industries, can continue operating without interruption.

His message to businesses was simple: keep working. Stopping operations affects agencies, departments and employees whose livelihoods depend on their works.

So while the government makes sure we’re protected and looked after, the least we could do as residents is to ensure the economy keeps running like every other day.

A note of gratitude from an Emirati

Toward the end of the video, the creator addressed residents who chose to leave the country temporarily. He wished them safety and comfort wherever they were. At the same time, he thanked those who chose to stay, saying it warms his heart to see the trust many people have in the systems that protect the country.

The video quickly gathered supportive responses from residents who shared similar sentiments.

One comment read:
“100% agree. May God protect our beloved country, its wise leadership, and its brave armed forces. We have full trust in our leaders and remain united and strong.”

Another resident, Shirin, said: “During each crisis the UAE protected us the best. Covid, the floods and now this. Meanwhile other countries are still fixing the crises they faced years ago.”

While opinions and debates continue across the internet, one thing has been consistent among many residents: a strong sense of trust in the country’s preparedness and leadership.

And as the situation continues to unfold, messages like this reflect how many people across the UAE are choosing to respond – by staying calm, supporting the economy, and looking out for each other.
